OUR STORY
It all began on set during that overtime slump...
Lulu Stone, our founder and resident foodie, was fantasising about how one of her homemade smoothies or raw juice shots would make her last few hours, on the longest day on set ever, more bearable. This smoothie would help alleviate her bloated belly after a day of emotionally eating junk food on set.

On the next shoot, Lulu brought her own raw juice and smoothie. The next day she made 8 smoothies and raw juices for her fellow crew mates. Two weeks later she was taking orders for all kinds of goods.
After this, Lulu conducted some research and found that there was a gap in the film and TV scene for a different kind of caterer.
A caterer that understood the energy spikes and dips of crew. She wanted to provide homemade healthy food options that tasted like Sunday at your mothers house. More importantly she wanted to give production companies a productive crew.

Six years and a pandemic later, Imbiza is a fully-fledged small business with a kitchen HQ in Edenvale. Imbiza has 18 beloved staff members, KC our beloved panel van, GG our bakkie and King Jeb our seven ton kitchen truck.

Lulu is still in awe of the fact that her personal food preferences are loved by crew. She loves making the food for her crew peeps and is even starting to love waking up at 02h00 on most mornings to do so.

* Okay! So she doesn't love waking up at 2 am but she definitely loves you.
